GLASS BRIDGE VAGAMON

In India, has a new tourist attraction:

The country’s longest glass bridge, It’s located at ‘kolahalamedu’ in Vagamon Kerala. This bridge was built through a partnership between DTPC Idukki and a private company. It’s a big deal for Vagamon’s adventure tourism.

The adventure park and glass bridge, known as ‘Chillu Palam’, are open every day for tourists. But only up to 15 people can go on the 120-foot-long glass bridge at one time. You’re allowed to stay on the bridge for a maximum of 10 minutes. It costs Rs 500 for everyone. There are lots of exciting things to do in the adventure park, like sky swing, sky cycling, sky roller, rocket injector, free fall, giant swing, and zip line.

This glass bridge is really high up, about 3,500 feet above sea level. When you look through the glass floor, it adds to the excitement. The views from the bridge are incredible. You can see far-off places like Mundakayam, Kootikal, and Kokkayar villages.

The main part of the bridge, the glass platform, cost a lot to build—about 3 crore rupees—and it was imported from Germany. They also used 35 tons of steel for the construction.
